Admission to Grade 1 (PYP1) at Spojená škola, Pankúchova 6 will take place on Friday, May 23rd, 2025.

Invitation and Time Slots

Invitations have been sent to all registered applicants via the email addresses provided in their application forms. The admissions will be held at three different time slots:

• 8:00 AM
• 10:00 AM
• 12:00 PM

Parents who did not receive the invitation are kindly asked to contact the school at pyp@gympaba.sk as soon as possible.

Arrival and Registration

Participants are asked to enter through the side entrance of the school building and to register their child at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

Absence Notification

In the event that an applicant will not attend the entrance exam, we kindly request that the school be informed no later than 7:40 AM on the day of the examination. Notification should be sent to the school directorate.

Admission Criteria

The criteria used in the admission process you can find here. The selection process consists of:

• A readiness assessment, and
• An interview in English

Results

The results of the admission process will be published on the school website no later than June 4, 2025. Results will be listed by each child’s unique code, which was included in the official invitation.
