Entry exam for the school year 2026/2027

3. MYP (The organizational unit of Gymnázium – Grade 1)

There will be an entry exam for Interantional Baccalareuate – MYP 3 clas.

1st session: March 24th, 2026 (Tuesday)

2nd session: March 31st, 2026 (Tuesday)

Updated information pursuant to the document Addendum to the Pedagogical–Organizational Guidelines for the 2025/26 School Year (dated 25 February 2026, ref. no. 2026/10070:1-A3710):

The principal of the secondary school shall publish the preliminary admission results for study programmes requiring verification of special abilities, skills, or talent via the eApplication system on 16 April 2026.
An applicant who has been successful in the admission procedure for study programmes requiring verification of special abilities, skills, or talent, and who ranked these programmes higher in order of preference on the application form than other study programmes, shall not be invited to entrance examinations for the other study programmes listed in the application. Other applicants shall be invited to the entrance examinations.
The principal of the secondary school shall publish the list of applicants according to the results of the admission procedure via the eApplication system; the list shall also be published on the school’s website and displayed in a publicly accessible place at the secondary school on 27 May 2026, or immediately after the evaluation of the ranking of schools.
If the secondary school decides to admit an applicant, the information about the applicant’s admission in the list of applicants according to the admission procedure results shall be deemed to constitute the decision on admission, and the date of publication of the list shall be considered the date of delivery of the admission decision.

The programme is intended for applicants from the 8th and 9th grades of primary school.

We accept applications submitted exclusively through the ePrihláška system; applications submitted via Edupage or by any other means will not be accepted.
Applicants with SEN (Special Educational Needs) – In the case of students with SEN (Special Educational Needs), the form of the entrance examination is determined with regard to the applicant’s diagnosis. The decision is based on a report from a diagnostic assessment carried out by the counselling and prevention facility in whose care the student is registered (the report must specify the category of limitation and provide recommendations for adjustments to the entrance examination conditions). The report must not be older than two years and must be delivered to the school no later than 15 working days before the date of the entrance examination. The school principal decides on any adjustments to the entrance examination (e.g. extended time, enlarged print, a separate room for students with SEN, etc.).
Documents for point evaluation – Supporting documents for assessment (except for the completed secondary school application form – item no. 2, written statement and recommendation for adjustment of entrance examination conditions – item no. 6, and confirmation of reduced working capacity – item no. 8) must be delivered to Spojená škola, Pankúchova 6 no later than the first date of the entrance examination by the child’s legal guardian.Supporting documents include, for example, documents required for awarding points for studies in the MYP programme (report cards, confirmation of successful completion of Service as Action).

The application form must be signed by BOTH parents/legal guardians, alternatively, the delegation of power in the respective matters is needed for one of the legal guardians. This should be sent together with the application form.

The entry exam will test the knowledge of English Language and Mathematics.

NOTICE: These criteria apply to students who will be attending the 8th or 9th grade of primary school in the 2026/27 school year.

Transfer exam for the school year 2026/2027 (to already existing class)

preMYP (The organizational unit of Základná škola – Grade 6)

Language of instruction: English

Date of the transfer examination: April 21st, 2026

Maximum number of accepted students: 12 students (two already existing classes)

The application has to be send till: April 10th, 2026

The selection process will be based on the transfer examination.

Transfer exam

MYP (other grades) – the admission to MYP classes is possible only if there is a free space in the class

The selection process will be based on a transfer examination.
